Nicole Allan

Nicole has been a part of Bateman MacKay LLP since 2009, including her tenure at the predecessor entity, Bateman MacKay Chartered Accountants. As Director, Operations & Administration, she demonstrates expertise in streamlining operations, enhancing productivity, and driving organizational efficiency.  She possesses a deep understanding of various aspects of operations management, including process creation and optimization, team leadership, mentoring, strategic planning, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.

Nicole leads a diverse team of administrative professionals with open communication, empathy, positivity, and a good sense of humour.  She has cultivated a highly effective administrative team, known for its exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. She has been instrumental in training, challenging, and coaching team members towards achieving personal and professional growth while also fostering a collaborative team mindset.

Nicole is committed to continuously driving innovation, operational excellence, and enabling the Team to provide exceptional client service.   On the forefront of Nicole’s vision at the Firm is innovation and adaptation.  This is progressed by focusing on digitization of services by leveraging emerging technologies/methodologies to further enhance operational efficiency, reduce operating costs, implement automation, and contribute to the company's growth and success.  Nicole’s possesses knowledge of the Firm’s interdepartmental flows which allows her to create and implement a seamless integration of process changes/creation.

Nicole has created and regularly runs a variety of the Firm’s K.P.I. reporting in order to monitor and assess key metrics such as: staff productivity, turnaround times, capacity planning, various growth metrics, etc.  These important reporting measures allow for the Firm’s continued growth, team accountability, profitability, ensuring Firm compliance with industry and legislative standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and most importantly guaranteeing client/end user satisfaction with the Bateman MacKay product and services.

In Nicole’s personal life she enjoys spending quality time with her 3 children, partner, and family.  She loves being out in nature, reveling in a quiet moment of creating art, while also dabbling in an occasional night of Karaoke.
