John Doma Discusses Small Business Taxation with MP Pierre Poilievre

Managing Partner John Doma, FCPA, FCA, recently participated in a round table of business leaders in Etobicoke to discuss small business taxation with Conservative MP and Shadow Minister of Finance, Pierre Poilievre. John provided feedback on the burden that small and medium sized businesses face from taxation and increasing administrative time required to meet exhaustive CRA requirements. As Managing Partner for an accounting firm that helps small and medium sized businesses with their corporate accounting, tax, and business advisory needs, John has a unique perspective on a range of different companies, across industries and sizes, and how they are impacted by these taxation burdens. John hopes this feedback will result in a reduction in red tape for small businesses across the country, which will enable companies to focus on their core business.
