The Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) is new, complex and carries heavy penalties for misuse. This government program requires businesses to be fully versed prior to applying. To support our clients when applying for CEWS, a detailed walkthrough of the CEWS was held via Livestream on April 29th. During this Livestream, our Senior Tax Associate Michael Cosentino, CPA and Tax Partners Richard Rizzo, CPA, CA and Vinay Khosla, CPA, CA walked clients through two hypothetical case studies by preparing two separate CEWS applications directly on the CRA’s website.
