We are proud to recognize our Managing Partner, John Doma, FCPA, FCA, who, along with his Wife Margaret Doma, recently met with the President of Slovenia during her visit to Canada. This meeting followed her recent address to the United Nations and global community, where she emphasized Slovenia’s commitment to collaboration and a shared future.

John represented both Bateman MacKay LLP and the Slovenian-Canadian community in his role as Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Slovenia. His leadership extends beyond our firm: he is currently the Director of the Board and Treasurer of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada (EUCCAN) and the President of the Canadian Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.

Moments like this highlight the broader impact of John’s dedication to building international business relationships, strengthening economic ties, and supporting communities both here in Canada and abroad. At Bateman MacKay, we are proud to see our leadership team recognized at the highest levels and remain committed to fostering meaningful connections.
