As a CA, CPA(IL), CMA and Assurance Partner with Bateman MacKay LLP, Pal Ghumman provides assurance and business advice to small-medium enterprises, public and not for profit organizations. Pal specializes in Cross Border Taxation, tax planning and consulting on mergers and acquisitions, estates and trusts, corporate restructuring, corporate finance and buying and selling businesses. He has serviced a variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, transportation, real estate, health care, technology and others. 

After coming as a graduate student in 1987 to pursue MA (Economics) and PhD, Pal switched his studies in accounting and started pursuing CMA. Pal completed his CMA in 1991, obtained his CA designation in 1994, obtained CPA(IL) in 1999 and completed the CICA In-depth tax course in 2000.  He frequent speaker on Canadian and US tax topics before law firms, financial institutions, various professional associations and the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce.
